Areas that have limited or restricted means of entry or exit, such as vaults, tanks, storage bins, sewers, silos, pits, and some trenches need to be investigated as possible confined spaces.  All employees working in confined spaces shall be trained in the hazards involved, proper usage of equipment, and company permit requirements.
