Without a thoughtful succession plan strategy in place, a change in leadership can have a devastating effect on an organization. Experts from Miller & Martin will share strategies to make sure your organization is prepared for transition into its next phase.  The session will be led by AGC Board Member, Randy Wilson, an attorney with Miller & Martin with a focus in construction law.

PANELISTS FROM MILLER & MARTIN

Don Morton concentrates his areas of practice in estate planning, business succession, estate and trust administration and employee benefits. He advises family business owners regarding the transfer of family assets and family business to second and third generations and equalizing distribution to children not actively involved in business. Mr. Morton uses a variety of trusts to preserve family assets and to minimize taxation of asset transfers to beneficiaries. 

Jenni Smith concentrates in Trusts, Estates and Wealth Management, working with clients to carefully and efficiently identify and prepare important details regarding clients' estate planning needs. She represents executors and administrators of estates in estate administration. 

Ward Nelson has over 30 years experience in the areas of corporate, healthcare and transportation law, primarily for merger and acquisition transactions and contract negotiations. His background as a Certified Public Accountant has proved invaluable in structuring and evaluating financial aspects of business transactions
